Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez (born July 5, 1970), also sometimes known as K-Dope, is an American record producer and disc jockey. He is one half of the classic house music Masters at Work musical production team with Little Louie Vega; and also released the hit "The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)" as The Bucketheads. Biography Gonzalez started his DJ career in 1985 organizing neighborhood block parties in his home of Brooklyn, New York, with his then musical partner, Mike Delgado. Under the Masters at Work moniker, the parties became quite successful and attracted Todd Terry who later borrowed the group's name for two record releases. Got Myself Together
"Got Myself Together" is a house music track by The Bucketheads, released in late 1995. It was the commercial follow-up to global hit The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind), and was the third single taken from the project's sole album '' All in the Mind''. While unable to reach the worldwide chart highs of its predecessor, the single was a club hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in January 1996, and a moderate commercial hit, reaching the top 10 in Finland and Sweden, and the top 20 in the UK. The track is considered a 1990s house classic. Background "Got Myself Together" is a disco-inspired house track based around a prominent sample of Brass Construction's 1976 hit, Movin'. In Europe, the lead single version was a remix by British house group Hustlers Convention, an early alias of DJs Michael Gray & Jon Pearn, now known as Full Intention. In April 2019, Positiva released a new remix by EJECA as part of its 25th anniversary series. The remix gained ...

All In The Mind (album)
''All in the Mind'' is the sole studio album by American house music act the Bucketheads, released in August 1995 by Big Beat Records in the United States and shortly after by Positiva Records in the United Kingdom. Unimpressed with what he perceived to be fellow producers copying his characteristic style, producer Kenny "Dope" Gonzales launched the Bucketheads as a stylistic detour to explore influences such as disco, hip hop and Latin music, hoping to throw his audience a 'curveball'. He recorded ''All in the Mind'' over a period of three days in his Brooklyn home studio, using an E-mu SP-1200 and Akai S950 for the production of beats and samples. The record combines house music with disco and funk, and is characterised by its use of contemporary tribal beats and bass lines and 1970s-style horns and related influences. Henry Street Music released the album's first single, "Whew!", to acclaim from club disc jockeys. The second single, "The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)" ...
