The Bots
The Bots are an American, Los Angeles-based indie rock band, founded by brothers Mikaiah Lei and Anaiah Lei. They perform Garage punk (fusion genre), garage punk music. ''Rolling Stone'' named them an artist "Most Likely To Succeed in 2014" during their coverage of acts performing at the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Coachella Music Festival. The Bots had already self released an album and three EPs before they signed to Fader Label in 2013. The band debuted their album ''Pink Palms'' in October 2014 via Fader Label, Fader. In 2021, The Bots released their sophomore album ''2 Seater'', featuring new drummer Alex Vincent (also of Los Angeles act Stop Thought). The record was recorded and produced in Austin, Texas by Adrian Quesada of Grammy-Award-nominated band Black Pumas. Edgefest was an annual outdoor rock festival in Canada. It was founded by staff members of Toronto radio station CFNY-FM. From 1987 to 2015, the festival was held every year in the summer (except for 2007). The festival was most frequently held on Canada Day at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario or a venue in Toronto. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Lowlands Festival
A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise (commonly called Lowlands or Lowlands Festival), is an annual three-day music and performing arts festival, held in the Netherlands. The festival is held east of Amsterdam in Biddinghuizen, at Spijk en Bremerberg, which is adjacent to Walibi Holland. The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an American annual four-day music festival developed and founded by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. Fun Fun Fun Fest (often abbreviated as "FFF" or "F3F") was an annual music and comedy festival held in Austin, Texas, United States. The festival was the only genre based festival in the United States, featuring stages that focused specifically on hip-hop / electronica, indie rock, punk / metal, and comedy. Black Pumas is an American psychedelic soul band based in Austin, Texas, led by singer/songwriter Eric Burton and guitarist/ producer Adrian Quesada. The group received its first Grammy Award nomination in 2020 for Best New Artist. History In 2017, singer and songwriter Eric Burton made his way from California to Texas. Born in the San Fernando Valley, he grew up singing in church and then got heavily involved in musical theater. He started busking at the Santa Monica Pier, where he brought in a few hundred dollars a day and developed his performance skills.
