''Death Before Dishonour'' is the fifth studio album by the Scottish punk rock band The Exploited. It was released on 15 April 1987 through Rough Justice Records. With this release, The Exploited moved to a more crossover thrash direction. This album was re-released on 19 June 2001 on Spitfire Records and contained an additional seven tracks. A music video of the band playing live with a woman was released for the song "Sexual Favours". "Sexual Favours", a single from the album ''Death Before Dishonour'', was released in 1987. The album cover features the Grim Reaper and former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The album ranked in the top 200 of the Britain Alternative Music list. Conflict (band)
Conflict are an English anarcho-punk band originally based in Eltham in South London. History Formed in 1981, the band's original line up consisted of: Colin Jerwood (vocals), Francisco 'Paco' Carreno (drums), John (bass guitar), Steve (guitars), Pauline (vocals), and Paul a.k.a. ' Nihilistic Nobody' (visuals). Their first release was the 1982 EP "The House That Man Built" on Crass Records. By the time they released their first album, 1983s '' It's Time to See Who's Who'', on Corpus Christi Records, Pauline and Paul had left the band. ''Top of the Pops'' (''TOTP'') is a British record chart television programme, made by the BBC and broadcast weekly between 1January 1964 and 30 July 2006. The programme was the world's longest-running weekly music show. For most of its history, it was broadcast on Thursday evenings on BBC One. Anti-Pasti
Anti-Pasti was a British punk rock band, founded by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell in 1978, featuring Kev Nixon on drums and Will Hoon on bass guitar. Later they were joined by a second guitarist, Ollie Hoon. Their first album, ''The Last Call'', spent seven weeks in the UK Albums Chart, peaking at No. 31. Roper left the band in 1982, and Anti-Pasti effectively ended until reformations in both 1995 and 2012. History From Derby, England, Anti-Pasti were part of the second wave of punk of the early 1980s. Anti-Nowhere League are an English punk rock band, formed in 1979 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, by lead singer Animal (Nick Culmer), guitarist Magoo (Chris Exall), Bones (Tony Shaw) on drums and Chris Elvy on bass. Career Early days The band first played at the 1980 Chaos Show at St Mark's Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells on 31 March 1980. They signed to John Curd's record label WXYZ Records in the same year. November 1981 saw the release of their first single, a cover version of Ralph McTell's " Streets of London". The single peaked at No. 48 in the UK Singles Chart and spent five weeks in the listings. Discharge are an English hardcore punk band formed in 1977 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The band is known for influencing several sub-genres of extreme music and their songs have been covered by some of the biggest names in heavy metal and other genres. The musical sub-genre of D-beat is named after Discharge and the band's distinctive drumbeat. The band is characterized by a minimalistic approach to music and lyrics, using a heavy, distorted and grinding guitar-driven sound and raw, shouted vocals similar to a political speech, with lyrics on anarchism, anarchist and pacifism, pacifist themes, over intense drone-like rhythms.
