The Daylights
The Daylights are a defunct alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California that formed in 2004. The trio was fronted by brothers Ran Jackson and Ricky Jackson, with Svend Lerche on Drums. Best known for their song, "I Hope This Gets To You" that was released in December 2010 as a virtual “love letter” on YouTube, it was based on a concept they conceived with their roommate for his long distance girlfriend. Within the first 72 hours, the video was viewed over 1.5 million times. Their self titled album "The Daylights" was released September 14, 2010 on the band's own label, 87th Floor Records. The album spent 5 weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. "Rogue Machine" and "I Hope This Gets To You" both reached Top 50 at Hot AC radio, and The Daylights were the only unsigned band in the Top 100. "I Hope This Gets To You" went to #4 on Sirius XM. Civil Twilight (band)
Civil Twilight was a four-piece rock band from Cape Town, South Africa, consisting of the brothers Andrew and Steven McKellar plus Richard Wouters and Kevin Dailey. They are signed to Wind-up Records, and have released three studio albums – their self-titled debut album, ''Civil Twilight'' (2009), '' Holy Weather'' (2012), and '' Story of an Immigrant'' on 10 July 2015. Drum
The drum is a member of the percussion group of musical instruments. In the Hornbostel-Sachs classification system, it is a membranophone. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Simlish
Simlish is a fictional language featured in EA's ''Sim'' series of games. It debuted in ''SimCopter'' (1996), and has been especially prominent in ''The Sims'' franchise, as well as in its spinoff ''MySims'' series. Simlish can also be heard in ''Sims 2''. ''Sims 3'', ''SimCity 4'', ''SimCity Societies'', SimCity (2013 video game), ''SimCity'' (2013 version), and ''SimCity BuildIt'' but far less frequently. Civilized Creatures in ''Spore (2008 video game), Spore'' can also be taught to speak Simlish. It is also featured to an extent in Firaxis Games' ''Sid Meier's SimGolf''. The Parlotones
The Parlotones are a South African indie rock band from Johannesburg.
