The Big Moon
The Big Moon is an English indie rock band, formed in 2014 in London by frontwoman Juliette Jackson. Their debut album, ''Love in the 4th Dimension'', was released on 6 April 2017, containing a number of singles previously released on their EP, ''The Road''. The album was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2017. They are signed to Fiction Records and have toured internationally. They supported the Pixies on their 2019 UK tour. History The Big Moon was formed in London, England in 2014 by lead singer Juliette Jackson, guitarist Soph Nathan, bassist Celia Archer, and drummer Fern Ford. The compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. In August 1982, the first compact disc was manufactured. It was then released in October 1982 in Japan and branded as '' Digital Audio Compact Disc''. The format was later adapted (as CD-ROM) for general-purpose data storage. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Kantar, and claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Finsbury Park is a public park in the London neighbourhood of Harringay. It is in the area formerly covered by the historic parish of Hornsey, succeeded by the Municipal Borough of Hornsey. ''Here Is Everything'' is the third studio album by British indie rock band the Big Moon, released on 14 October 2022 via Fiction Records. Background In January 2020, the Big Moon released their second studio album '' Walking Like We Do'' to positive reviews. The Big Moon were getting ready to release their follow-up to ''Walking Like We Do'' in early 2021, including being about to shoot the music video for the first single. However, the band "decided to put the brakes on and give it some breathing space", according to Juliette Jackson. Jackson giving birth to a son forced her to reconsider the project.
