The Actors Workshop
The Actors Workshop is one of southern California's oldest film acting programs and is generally associated with the Sanford Meisner Orange County Register, "Actor's Workshop spots hot prospects", November 19, 1991 and Charles Conrad techniques. The company was established by its parent company, Shannon & Company. Overview Founded by Film/TV actor R.J. Adams in 1980, The Actors Workshop has been training aspiring and professional young film/television actors in both Los Angeles and Orange County, California. Throughout the years a number of well-known industry directors and casting directors from Universal Television, Warner Brothers, Columbia Pictures, Lorimar TV, NBC, CBS and ABC have been affiliated with the workshop and continue to make bi-monthly guest appearances on a monthly basis. Rob Adams (actor)
Rob Adams (born Robert Lee Adams II; February 27, 1970) is an American actor, owner of The Actors Workshop, film acting coach, offensive coordinator at Tesoro High School and former college football quarterback. Early years Adams was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to actor/radio personality R. J. Adams and documentary producer Diane C. Adams. After finishing college Adams briefly coached football before following in his father's footsteps as an actor/film acting coach. In 1992, Adams took it upon himself to terminate a disruptive teacher and at the same time dismissed several students from the program. As a result, he was made a full partner in the ownership of The Actors Workshop. David Farkas
David Farkas (born November 28, 1975) is an American actor and musician. Biography Farkas was born in Akron, Ohio, but Orange County, California has been his home since 1988. At Sunny Hills High School he was a member of an all-league water polo team. He was also a member of the North Orange County All-Star Team. He then played water polo at Claremont McKenna College where he was an All-SCIAC, All-American selection his senior year. He was also a two-time captain and a member of the CMS Athletic Wall of Fame.
