Synthoid
A synthoid is a fictional type of artificial lifeform. The term originated on the television cartoon series '' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'', produced by Sunbow in the mid-1980s. It has since been used in other media as well. As used in G.I. Joe The term "synthoid" was first seen in the two-part episode "The Synthoid Conspiracy" of the G.I. Joe cartoon show. This stealth replicate technology was developed by Zartan, the master of disguise, in service to the Cobra terrorist organization. Synthoids seem to be molded from a biomimetic polymer-like material which can be programmed to assume human form, duplicating clothing, voice, and behavioural characteristics of the original subject. (In this respect, the synthoid concept is comparable to the android T-1000 from the 1991 science fiction film '' Terminator 2: Judgment Day'', but predating said movie by six years.) The Zeta Project
''The Zeta Project'' is an American science fiction animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It first aired on Kids' WB in January 2001. It is a spin-off series based on the character Zeta from the ''Batman Beyond'' episode of the same name and the sixth series of the DC Animated Universe. The show was created by Robert Goodman and Warner Bros. Animation. The story's main character, Infiltration Unit Zeta, is a humanoid robot (synthoid) designed to carry out covert assassinations on the behalf of the National Security Agency. Cobra Command
Cobra (sometimes referred to as Cobra Command) is a fictional terrorist organization and the nemesis of the G.I. Joe Team in the Hasbro action figure toyline '' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'' and '' G.I. Joe: Sigma 6'', as well as in related media. Cobra was first introduced during the launch of the ''G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'' toyline in mid-1982. The toyline was accompanied by a Marvel Comics series, written by Larry Hama, and an animated television series by Sunbow and Marvel Productions. However, the origin and portrayal of Cobra has differed in each of them. Marvel Comics invented the Cobra concept, with the name having been proposed by Archie Goodwin. A Real American Hero
''G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'' (also known as Action Force in the UK) is a military-themed line of action figures and toys in Hasbro's G.I. Joe franchise. The toyline lasted from 1982 to 1994, producing well over 500 figures and 250 vehicles and playsets. The line reappeared in 1997 and has continued in one form or another to the present day. It was supported by two animated series (Sunbow, then DIC Entertainment, DIC) as well as a major comic series published by Marvel Comics. The toyline continues to play a large part in Hasbro's G.I.
