In the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa they are known as tracksuit bottoms. Émile Camuset
Émile Camuset was a French clothing merchant in the 19th century. He was the founder of the Le Coq Sportif sports equipment company. He began the company in 1882 with the opening of a little hosiery store in Romilly-sur-Seine, in a part of the Champagne region called the Aube Aube () is a French department in the Grand Est region of north-eastern France. As with sixty departments in France, this department is named after a river: the Aube. With 310,242 inhabitants (2019),sweatpants. Camuset began developing new lines of clothing which incorporated cotton ribs, brushed fleece and jersey.
