Squash Rankings
The Official Men's Squash World Ranking is the official world ranking for men's squash. The ranking is to rate the performance level of male professional squash player. It is also a merit-based method used for determining entry and seeding in men's squash tournaments. The rankings are produced monthly. The current world number one is Paul Coll of New Zealand. PSA ranking policy Players competing in PSA tournaments earn ranking points according to how far they get in the draw. The points available depend on the prize money and the draw size. The monthly rankings (issued on the 1st of the month) are used in selecting entries to tournaments and in determining the seeds. The total number of points a player earns in the previous twelve months is divided by the number of tournaments played (a minimum divisor of ten is used) to give a ranking average. Logo PSA World Rankings
A logo (abbreviation of logotype; ) is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol used to aid and promote public identification and recognition. It may be of an abstract or figurative design or include the text of the name it represents as in a wordmark. Grégory Gaultier (born 23 December 1982, in Épinal, France) is a former professional squash player from France. He has won the 2015 World Open Squash Championship, the British Open three times, in 2007, 2014 and 2017, the Qatar Classic in 2011, the US Open twice, in 2006 and 2013, the Tournament of Champions in 2009, and the PSA World Series Finals thrice, in 2008, 2009 and 2016. Simon Rösner
Simon Rösner (born 5 November 1987 in Würzburg) is a German former professional squash player. He broke the Top 10 in the PSA World Rankings for the first time in November 2014, going on to become the highest-ranked male German player of all time. Rosner subsequently reached a world ranking of No. 6 matching Germany's Sabine Schone's career-high world ranking of No. 6 in June 2015. Rosner broke into the world Top 5 in June 2018 and Top 3 in December 2018 making him the highest-ever-ranked German player. Marwan El Shorbagy (born July 30, 1993, in Alexandria) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in May 2018. Ali Amr Farag (; born 22 April 1992) is an Egyptian professional squash player. He is the 2018–19, 2020–21 and 2021–22 World Champion, and is currently ranked as world No. 1 by the Professional Squash Association (PSA). Education Farag graduated from Harvard University in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Farag also graduated as one of the best squash players in college history, suffering only two defeats in his three years.
