Soundtracks
A soundtrack is recorded music accompanying and synchronised to the images of a motion picture, drama, book, television program, radio program, or video game; a commercially released soundtrack album of music as featured in the soundtrack of a film, video, or television presentation; or the physical area of a film that contains the synchronised recorded sound. In movie industry terminology usage, a sound track is an audio recording created or used in film production or post-production. Initially, the dialogue, sound effects, and music in a film each has its own separate track (''dialogue track'', ''sound effects track'', and '' music track''), and these are mixed together to make what is called the ''composite track,'' which is heard in the film. M&E tracks contain all sound elements minus dialogue, which is then supplied by the for ...

The ''Shrek'' soundtracks are a collection of soundtracks from all four movies of the Shrek (franchise), ''Shrek'' series, including separate editions for the movie score. Each soundtrack contains all songs that featured in their respective film, and the score soundtrack contains the music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell (film composer), John Powell. ''Shrek'' (2001) Background ''Shrek'' was unique in that it used pop music and other oldies to move the story forward. Covers of songs like "On the Road Again (Willie Nelson song), On the Road Again" and "Try a Little Tenderness" were integrated in the film's score. As the film was about to be completed, Katzenberg suggested the filmmakers redo the film's ending in order to "go out with a big laugh"; instead of ending the film with a storybook closing over Shrek (character), Shrek and Princess Fiona, Fiona as they ride off into the sunset, they decided to add the song "I'm a Believer" by Smash Mouth and show a ...

Soundtrack Album
A soundtrack album is any album that incorporates music directly recorded from the soundtrack of a particular feature film or television show. The first such album to be commercially released was Walt Disney's ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'', the soundtrack to the film of the same name, in 1938. The first soundtrack album of a film's orchestral score was that for Alexander Korda's 1942 film ''Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book'', composed by Miklós Rózsa. Overview When a feature film is released, or during and after a television series airs, an album in the form of a soundtrack is frequently released alongside it. A soundtrack typically contains instrumentation or alternatively a film score. But it can also feature songs that were sung or performed by characters in a scene (or a cover version of a song in the media, rerecorded by a popular artist), songs that were used as intentional or unintentional background music in important scenes, songs that were heard in the closing ...

The Original Soundtrack From The Motion Picture
''The'' () is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of the archai ...

The player races a team of series characters through levels to amass rings, defeat robots, and collect the seven Chaos Emeralds needed to defeat Doctor Eggman. Within each level, the player switches between the team's three characters, who each have unique abilities, to overcome obstacles. ''Sonic Heroes'' abandons the action-adventure and exploration-based gameplay of its predecessors ''Sonic Adventure'' (1998) and ''Sonic Adventure 2'' (2001) and instead returns to the linear style of Sega Genesis-era ''Sonic'' games. ''Heroes'' was the first multi-platform ''Sonic'' game, produced for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Windows. Sonic Team USA's Yuji Naka and Takashi Iizuka led the game's 20-month development. The team wanted ''Sonic Heroes'' to appeal beyond ''Sonic'' series fans and so designed a game that did not depend on the continuation of its ...

The story follows the title characters from the time they meet in Chicago just before sharing a cross-country drive, through twelve years of chance encounters in New York City. The film addresses but doesn't resolve questions along the lines of "Can men and women ever just be friends?" Ideas for the film began when Rob Reiner divorced from Penny Marshall. An interview Ephron conducted with Reiner provided the basis for Harry. Sally was based on Ephron and some of her friends. Crystal came on board and made his own contributions to the screenplay, making Harry funnier. Ephron supplied the structure of the film with much of the dialogue based on the real-life friendship between Reiner and Crystal. The soundtrack consists of standards from Harry Connick Jr., with a big band and orchestra arranged by M ...
