Second Cabinet Of Abdullah Ensour
The prime minister of Jordan, Abdullah Ensour, formed his second cabinet in March 2013. The new cabinet was sworn in before King Abdullah II on 30 March 2013. On 23 April 2013, the parliament approved the cabinet with 83 votes in favor and 65 votes against. It was the 77th government of Jordan. In addition, it was the thirteenth government formed during the reign of King Abdullah who ascended to the throne in 1999. Structure The cabinet was initially made up of 19 members. The number of portfolios in the first cabinet of Ensour was 21. Of the cabinet members excluding Ensour, four retained their previous posts in the first cabinet. Nine of the cabinet members are newcomers, while five served in other cabinets. There is only one woman in the cabinet, Reem Abu Hassan who was appointed minister of social development. Azzam Sleit
Azzam Sleit (born 1966) is a Jordanian academic and politician. He was minister of information and communication technology of Jordan between 21 August 2013 and 2 March 2015. Early life and education Sleit was born on 9 June 1966. He received bachelor's degree and master's degree in computer science and engineering both from King Fahd University. He also holds a PhD in computer science from Wayne State University, Michigan, which he obtained in February 1995. Career Sleit worked as the vice president of Strategic Group and Director of professional services of Triada, United States. Reem Abu Hassan
Reem Abu Hassan ( ar, ريم أبو حسان) is a Jordanian politician and Government Minister. She has served as the Jordanian Minister of Social Development from 2013 to 2016, which advocates for the welfare of marginalized people in civil society. Before this, she served as the Secretary General of the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), which promotes the "family unit" in Jordanian society. Bassam Talhouni ( ar, بسام التلهوني; born 1964) is a Jordanian lawyer, academic and politician. He served as industry minister. Between August 2013 and September 2016 he was minister of justice. Lina Shabib is a Jordanian engineer, politician and former government Minister of Transport. Biography Lina Shahib was appointed the Minister of Transport of Jordan in the cabinet of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on 21 August 2013.
