Six-pack Rings
Six-pack rings or six-pack yokes are a set of connected plastic rings that are used in multi-packs of beverage, particularly six-packs of beverage cans. The rings have gained notoriety because of concerns for marine debris entangling wildlife. History Within 10 years, plastic rings had completely replaced the paper and metal-based holders then common in the market.ITW History
Today several other manufacturers continue to produce six-pack rings. Though interest in multi-packs has continued to grow, other variations, including paperboard baskets and LDPE plastic can carriers, have grown in popularity, providing an alternative to conventional six-pack rings.

Volleyball Jargon
This is a list of the more common English volleyball jargon terms: Common terms *Ace: A serve which lands in the opponent's court without being touched, or is touched but unable to be kept in play by one or more receiving team players. *Assist: Usually the second of a team's three contacts, an assist is awarded for any set ball that results in a kill on the ensuing attack. *Attack: Usually the third of a team's three contacts, an attack is any attempt by the offense to score a point against the defense (this does not include free balls or over-passes). *Breakpoint: A point scored on the team's own serve. In the scoring system prior to 1999, these were the only scored points (except for sanction points). Even in the present scoring system, these are the points that really count, as the side outs cancel each other. *Cross-court shot: An individual attack directed at an angle from one end of the offensive team's side of the net to the opposite sideline of the defensive team's court. ...

The Six Pack (ZZ Top Box Set)
''The Six Pack'' is a Box set#Music, box set released in 1987 by the American rock music, rock band ZZ Top. It comprises their first five albums, plus their seventh album, ''El Loco'' (1981). All the albums except ''El Loco'' and the live side of ''Fandango!'' were remixed with new drums and guitar effects for a more "contemporary" sound, similar to ZZ Top's eighth album, ''Eliminator (album), Eliminator'' (1983). Until 2006, these remixes were the only versions of the albums available on CD. Reception Reviewing ''The Six Pack'' for AllMusic, Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote: "If ''Six Pack'' just delivered the original albums, it'd be a good investment, but the studio tinkering makes this a disaster." Later reissues The ''Six Pack'' remixes were also used on the individual CD releases of the albums and all following compilations of the band (except the CD release of 1977's The Best of ZZ Top) for the next few years. Original mixes were first remastered for the box set ''Chrome, Smo ...

Six Pack (Gary Burton Album)
''Six Pack '' is a 1992 studio album by American jazz vibraphonist Gary Burton. It features six guest guitarists ( B.B. King, Jim Hall, John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ralph Towner and Kevin Eubanks) along with an all-star band including tenor saxophonist Bob Berg, pianist Mulgrew Miller, bassist Steve Swallow and drummer Jack DeJohnette. Reception Daniel Gioffre of Allmusic wrote "Gary Burton's peculiar connection and affinity for great guitarists is a proven historical fact, as he has been responsible for bringing such fantastic musicians to the world stage as Larry Coryell and Pat Metheny. On Six Pack, he joins with six different six-stringers for some decidedly varied modern jazz. Kurt Rosenwinkel makes like Metheny on the first track, the up-tempo Mitch Forman composition "Anthem." Any predictability to the song disappears in the presence of the rhythm section of Jack DeJohnette, Steve Swallow, and Mulgrew Miller. One doesn't generally think of the vibes as a blues ...

Sixpack (European Union Law)
The EU economic governance, Sixpack describes a set of European legislative measures to reform the Stability and Growth Pact and introduces greater macroeconomic surveillance, in response to the European debt crisis of 2009. These measures were bundled into a "six pack" of regulations, introduced in September 2010 in two versions respectively by the European Commission and a European Council task force. In March 2011, the ECOFIN council reached a preliminary agreement for the content of the Sixpack with the commission, and negotiations for endorsement by the European Parliament then started. Ultimately it entered into force 13 December 2011, after one year of preceding negotiations. The six regulations aim at strengthening the procedures to reduce public deficits and address macroeconomic imbalances. Overview All 27 EU member states are committed by the paragraphs in the EU Treaty, referred to as the Stability and Growth Pact (SGP), to implement a fiscal policy aiming for t ...

Flight Instruments
Flight instruments are the instruments in the cockpit of an aircraft that provide the pilot with data about the flight situation of that aircraft, such as altitude, airspeed, vertical speed, heading and much more other crucial information in flight. They improve safety by allowing the pilot to fly the aircraft in level flight, and make turns, without a reference outside the aircraft such as the horizon. Visual flight rules (VFR) require an airspeed indicator, an altimeter, and a compass or other suitable magnetic direction indicator. Instrument flight rules (IFR) additionally require a gyroscopic pitch-bank (artificial horizon), direction (directional gyro) and rate of turn indicator, plus a slip-skid indicator, adjustable altimeter, and a clock. Flight into instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) require radio navigation instruments for precise takeoffs and landings. The term is sometimes used loosely as a synonym for cockpit instruments as a whole, in which context it can ...
