Fernando Luiz Roza (born 4 May 1985), known as Fernandinho, is a Brazilian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Club Athletico Paranaense, Athletico Paranaense. He has captained the Brazil national football team, Brazil national team on many occasions. Fernandinho is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation. Fernandinho started his career at Brazilian club Clube Atlético Paranaense, Atlético Paranaense before moving to FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005, where he became one of the best foreign players to ever play in the Ukrainian Premier League. With Shakhtar, he won six List of Ukrainian football champions, Ukrainian Premier League titles, four Ukrainian Cups and the 2008–09 UEFA Cup.
