Andreas Hajek (born 16 April 1968 in Weißenfels) is a retired German rower. At the 1986 World Rowing Championships, he replaced a sick Thomas Lange Thomas Lange (born 27 February 1964) is a German rower who won two gold and one bronze Olympic medals in the single sculls. Lange is one of six rowers (along with Mahé Drysdale, Pertti Karppinen, Peter-Michael Kolbe, Ondřej Synek and V ... at short notice when he was only 18; he won a bronze medal at that occasion. Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave (born 23 March 1962) is a British retired rower who won gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games from 1984 to 2000. He has also won three Commonwealth Games gold medals and nine World Rowing Championships golds. He is the most successful male rower in Olympic history, and the only man to have won gold medals at five Olympic Games in an endurance sport. Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent, (; born 10 October 1970) is an English rower and broadcaster. During his rowing career, he won 10 world championship gold medals and four consecutive Olympic gold medals. Since retiring, he has worked as a sports broadcaster for the BBC. Ronald Charles Snook (born 5 May 1972 in Dalwallinu, Western Australia) is an Australian former representative rower. He is an Olympic medallist and was a six-time Australian national champion. He won his Olympic bronze medal at Atlanta 1996 in the quad scull. He made seven state appearances for Western Australia in King's Cup eights between 1992 and 2000. Duncan Seth Free (born 25 May 1973) is a retired Australian rower and Olympic gold medallist. He is dual Olympian and two-time world champion who represented Australia at four world rowing championships in both sculls and sweep oared boats. Leslie Janusz Hooker (born 28 September 1969) is an Australian businessman and former Australian national champion and representative rower who won a bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Eric C. Mueller (born November 6, 1970) is a former Olympic and National team rower, representing the United States at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri. Mueller, one of the most successful men's rowers in Wisconsin history, begins his third season as the Badgers' freshmen coach. Mueller returns to Madison for the second time as an assistant coach.
