Rabona
In association football, the rabona is the technique of kicking the football where the kicking leg is crossed behind the back of the standing leg. There are several reasons why a player might opt to strike the ball this way: for example, a right-footed striker advancing towards the goal slightly on the left side rather than having the goal straight in front may feel that his shot power or accuracy with his left foot is inadequate (more colloquially, the player has "no left"), so will perform a rabona in order to take a better shot. Another scenario could be a right-footed winger sending a cross while playing on the left side of the pitch without having to turn first. Another reason why a player could perform a rabona might be to confuse a defending player, or simply to show off their own ability, as it is considered a skilful trick at any level. Ricardo Infante
Ricardo Roberto Infante (21 June 1924 – 14 December 2008) was an Argentine Association football, football player and manager who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. He was the second-highest-scoring player in the history of Estudiantes de La Plata and the sixth-highest-scoring player in the professional era of the Primera División Argentina. Career Infante made his professional debut in 1942 for Estudiantes de La Plata, Estudiantes, he scored his first goal for the club on 1 August 1943 in a 2–2 draw with Chacarita Juniors. Infante went on to score 180 goals for the club in 328 games. Alberto Aquilani (; born 7 July 1984) is an Italian football manager and former player. Mário Jardel de Almeida Ribeiro (; born 18 September 1973) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He was most noted for his positioning on the field and his heading ability. He was a legend for Grêmio, playing a major part in the squad that won the 1995 Copa Libertadores.
