Restore International
Love Does, formerly known as Restore International, is a nonprofit organization founded by Bob Goff in 2003. Their goal is to work for freedom and human rights, improve educational opportunities, and try to be helpful to those in need of a voice and a friend. History Restore International was founded in 2003 by Bob Goff after a trip to India where he witnessed extreme human rights violations. Restore India began with efforts to free those in bonded labor, human trafficking, or who were otherwise exploited. In 2006, they began working in Uganda in human rights and education. In March 2014 they launched a program in Somalia to improve educational opportunities, safety care for women and children, and feeding programs. In September 2014, Restore opened a school in Iraq as well as an orphanage in Nepal. In 2016, they rebranded to "Love Does" and continue to further their work in these countries. Christopher August Megert (born March 20, 1982), known professionally as Chris August, is an American Contemporary Christian musician. August began recording as a secular musician before switching to Christian music. His song " Starry Night" reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Christian Songs chart in 2010/2011. He was nominated at the 2011 Dove Awards in five categories, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year. Career August began recording music in his early teens after his father built a studio in their home in Garland, Texas. He became a Christian when he turned 15 years old and began to record music. Thomas Ward Crowther (born 1986) is a British ecologist. He is a former professor of ecology at ETH Zürich and a founding co-chair of the Advisory Board for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. At ETH Zürich, he started Crowther Lab, an interdisciplinary group of scientists exploring the role of biodiversity in regulating the Earth's climate. Crowther is the founder of Restor, an online platform that supports thousands of community-led restoration projects around the world. In 2021, the World Economic Forum named Crowther a Young Global Leader. Career Crowther conducted his undergraduate and PhD studies at Cardiff University, under the supervision of Dr. Hefin Jones.
