Racing.com (stylised as RACING.COM) is an Australian free-to-air standard-definition digital television channel, owned and operated by the Seven Network and Racing Victoria. This is a list of the current channels available on digital terrestrial television in Australia. The commercial channels available to viewers depend on location and station ownership. The process of aggregation during the late 80s to mid 90s saw regional stations take on affiliations with metropolitan channels for programming, a practice that has continued into digital television with affiliated stations carrying various multichannels from their metropolitan counterparts. Metropolitan in this list therefore refers to the capitals of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, where stations are owned and operated by the network rather than affiliates. In areas not covered by terrestrial transmissions, the digital channels are provided by the free-to-view VAST satellite platform. Aspire TV
Aspire TV was an Australian advertorial datacasting channel launched on 21 May 2013. The channel operated a full-time format of mostly US produced paid programming and, to a lesser extent, other paid program content including religious programming. Though datacasting was intended by the Labor government of the time to broadcast telecourses and other non-commercial content, without any legislative restriction on its use, most Australian broadcasters have utilized the datacasting services for teleshopping instead. For the most part however, the general public has ignored these datacasting teleshopping channels, resulting in their swift discontinuation. Fresh Ideas TV was a digital advertorial datacasting channel owned by the Seven Network. The channel launched on 22 November 2013 and broadcast infomercials and home shopping content on channel 78. The channel was available to Seven's metropolitan markets of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth as well as their regional Queensland station. 7mate is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 25 September 2010. The channel contains sport and regular programs aimed primarily to a male audience, with programming drawn from a combination of new shows, American network shows and other shows previously aired on its sister channels Seven, 7two and 7flix. Due to the rebroadcast of 7HD on 10 May 2016, 7mate was reduced to a standard definition broadcast in Melbourne and Adelaide. It launched on 10 March 1967 as ''BTW-3'' in Bunbury, Western Australia, Bunbury.
