Bessarabska Square
The Bessarabska Square ( uk, Бессарабська площа, ''Bessarabs'ka ploscha'') is a square located at the southwest end of Khreshchatyk, the main thoroughfare of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is located in the city's Shevchenkivskyi District (district), at the busy intersection of Khreshchatyk, Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, Velyka Vasylkivska Street, and the Krutyi Descent streets. Until the late 1840s, the square was located on the outskirts of town, where immigrants from Bessarabia in the southern regions of Ukraine would come to sell their products. The Shevchenkivskyi District (, uk, Шевченківський район, lit=Shevchenkivskyi district, translit=Shevchenkivsʹkyi raion) is an urban district of the city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Prospect Peremohy
Prospect Peremohy (, uk, Проспект Перемоги, lit=Victory Avenue, translit=Prospekt Peremohy), commonly known as Victory Avenue, is the second longest public roadway ( prospekt) in Kyiv, Ukraine. The roadway was created in the second half of the 20th century (1964) as part of the urbanized area of the Brest-Lytovske highway and was known as Brest-Lytovskyi prospect. At the beginning of the Soviet perestroika period in 1985, it was renamed to its current name. History Originally being terminated at the Povitroflotskyi overpass, in 1985, when it was renamed, the prospect was extended all the way to the Peremohy Square which until 1985 was part of boulevard Tarasa Shevchenka. The Kyiv Zoo ( uk, Київський Зоопарк, ''Kyivskyi Zoopark'') is one of the largest zoos in the former Soviet Union and the only large zoo in Kyiv, Ukraine. Situated on about , the zoo is cared for by 378 staff members and receives about 280,000 visitors annually. The Sky Towers Multifunctional Complex is a mixed-use building currently on hold in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The project is designed to have two towers, ranging from 34 to 47 stories, and a two-story bank building. The gross area of the complex will be approximately 225,000 square meters.
