Pan-Indian film is a term related to Indian cinema that originated with Telugu cinema as a mainstream commercial film appealing to audiences across the country with a spread to world markets. The movement gained popularity since 2015, post the success of '' Baahubali: The Beginning''. The term Pan-Indian film is used for a film that is simultaneously released in multiple languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi with an aim to maximize the target audience and increase the revenues. Such films make an attempt to appeal to the audiences across the country, cutting across the linguistic and cultural barriers. Background Indian cinema is composed of various language film industries. A film made in a language was usually remade in other languages. Dubbing of a film into other language is not a regular practice in Indian cinema. Prashanth Neel
Prashanth Neelakantapuram (born 4 June 1980) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who primarily works in the Kannada film industry. He made his debut with the 2014 Kannada film, ''Ugramm'' and later directed the two-part film series: '' K.G.F: Chapter 1'' (2018), and '' K.G.F: Chapter 2'' (2022), the latter being the highest-grossing Kannada film. Personal life Prashanth Neelakantapuram was born on 4 June 1980 in a Telugu family in Karnataka. Born to Subhash and Bharathi, their family hails from Neelakantapuram village, near Madakasira, Andhra Pradesh, and settled in Bangalore. Neel married Likhitha in 2010. Kannada Cinema
Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy
''Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'' is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language historical action film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Production Company banner. Surender Reddy scripted the film based on an original story given by Paruchuri brothers. A work of fiction, the film is inspired by the life of Indian independence activist Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The film stars Chiranjeevi as the title character with Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, and Vijay Sethupathi (in his Telugu film debut) in supporting roles.
