Zora Palová
Zora Palová (born 1947) is a Slovak glass artist. Biography Palová was born in Bratislava, Slovakia and attended the applied arts school there. She later became a teacher at the public art school in Nitra, and worked as a designer, before returning to her hometown and resuming studies in art. She initially studied painting and sculpture, but changed her major to study architecture and glass. From 1996 to 2003 she was head of the glass department at the University of Sunderland in England. Květoslav Palov
Květoslav Palov (born 6 December 1962) is a former Czechoslovak and Australian cyclist. Career He was the first Czech to compete in the Tour de France. He uses the nickname ''Omar''. Palov was a member of the Czechoslovak national team in the 1980s. He refused to return from Italy where he raced in 1986. In 1987, he participated as the first Czech in the Tour de France. With a Czechoslovak passport, he raced for the British team ANC-Halfords. He finished the Tour as 103rd. He raced professionally until 1991 and retired from his racing career in Australia. Later life He lives and runs a business in Rockhampton Rockhampton is a city in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, Australia.
