''Canonical provision'' is a term of the canon law of the Catholic Church, signifying regular induction into a benefice. Analysis It comprises three distinct acts - the designation of the person, canonical institution, and installation. In various ways a person may be designated to fill a vacant benefice: by election, postulation, presentation, or recommendation, resignation made in one's favour, or approved exchange. In all cases confirmation by the proper ecclesiastical superior of the selection made is required, while letters of appointment, as a rule, must be presented. A vicar general (previously, archdeacon) is the principal deputy of the bishop of a diocese for the exercise of administrative authority and possesses the title of local ordinary. As vicar of the bishop, the vicar general exercises the bishop's Ordinary (church officer), ordinary executive (government), executive power over the entire diocese and, thus, is the highest official in a diocese or other particular church after the diocesan bishop or his equivalent in canon law. Ben Provisor
Ben Provisor (born June 26, 1990 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin) is an American wrestler. He won the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials at 74 kg GR, and competed at the 2012 Olympics. He also competed at the 2016 Olympics. Personal life He is the son of musician Dennis Provisor, former keyboard player for the rock band The Grass Roots. He is married to wrestler Leigh Jaynes. He has one child. He attended SPASH high school in Stevens Point WI. Wrestling career Provisor is a three-time U.S. Open champion (2011, 2013, and 2018). Dennis Provisor (born November 9, 1943) is an American musician and songwriter. He recorded on several different labels, including 20th Century Fox and Valiant, under the name of Denny Provisor. He released some soulful singles as a solo artist. He later joined the groups The Hook, Blue Rose, and The Grass Roots.
