Ombo Entertainment
Ombo is an island in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The island is the largest island in the Ryfylke region and the second largest island in Rogaland county. There are several villages on the island including Jørstadvåg, Atlatveit, and Eidssund in the western part of the island and the villages of Tuftene, Skipavik, Skår, and Vestersjø are located on the southeastern part of the island. Jørstad Church is located in the village of Jørstadvåg. The island is the northeasternmost part of the vast Stavanger municipality, nearly from the city of Stavanger, the administrative centre of the municipality. Prior to 2020, the island was divided between the municipalities Hjelmeland and Finnøy. In 2020, the island joined Stavanger municipality. Hjelmelandsvågen is the administrative centre of Hjelmeland municipality, Norway. The village is located on the south side of the mouth of the Jøsenfjorden. The village has a population (2019) of 592 and a population density of . The Norwegian National Road 13 runs through the village, with a ferry connection across the Jøsenfjorden and to the nearby island of Ombo. The village sits about northeast of the village of Fister and about the same distance north of the village of Årdal. Fogn
Fogn is an island in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island lies southeast of the island of Finnøy and northeast of the island of Talgje, about northeast of the city of Stavanger. The Finnøyfjorden lies between Fogn and Finnøy and the Fognafjorden lies between Fogn and the mainland to the southeast. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain ''Domfjellet''. Fogn Church is located on the island. The island is especially well known for its large production of tomatoes in greenhouses, about 15 percent of Norway's total production. This employs large amounts of foreign labor on the island. There are about 354 inhabitants on the island (2014), with many more summer residents who live in summer cottages on the island. Jelsa, Norway
Jelsa is a village in Suldal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the inner part of the Boknafjorden, near the mouths of the Sandsfjorden and Erfjorden. The village is the site of a school, store, gas station, and some small stores. There was a barrel factory here until it closed in 2009. Jelsa Church is located in this village. Nedstrand
Nedstrand (locally, ''Stranda'') is a village in Tysvær municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is on the Nedstrand peninsula's southeast coast, at the confluence of the Nedstrandsfjorden and Vindafjorden. The village of Hindaråvåg lies just west of Nedstrand, and Nedstrand Church is there. The village has a population (2019) of 227 and a population density of . The village is a regular ferry stop on routes to the Sjernarøyane islands (across the Nedstrandsfjorden) and to Hebnes (across the Vindafjorden). Both of those stops have other connections all over the region. Judaberg
Judaberg is a village in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located on the eastern shore of the island of Finnøy. The island is located on the south side of the Boknafjorden, northeast of the large city of Stavanger. The village has a population (2019) of 850 and a population density of . Sjernarøyane
Sjernarøyane is an island group in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The islands are located in the Nedstrandsfjorden, west of the large island of Ombo and north of the large island of Finnøy. As of 2014, the islands were home to 365 residents. The islands were historically part of the municipality of Sjernarøy before merging into the municipality of Finnøy in 1965. Then in 2020, the islands were transferred to Stavanger municipality. The Aubøsund strait, which runs between the islands of Aubø and Bjergøy was a historically important trading post. The name comes from Old Norse word ''"Sjǫrn"'' which means the number seven, since historically the archipelago had seven inhabited islands. Finnøy (island)
Finnøy is an island in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island is located on the southern side of the Boknafjorden, about northeast of the city of Stavanger. The largest urban area on the island is the village of Judaberg which is located on the eastern shore of the island. The village of Hesby, on the western coast, is a historical seat of power dating back to the Middle Ages. Hesby is also the site of Hesby Church which dates back to around the year 1100 A.D. Prior to 2020, the island was part of Finnøy municipality. Finnøy island is connected to the mainland by a series of bridges and undersea tunnels. Finnøy Tunnel connects Finnøy to the nearby island of Rennesøy, and to the nearby island of Talgje. Randøy
Randøy is an island in Hjelmeland municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island lies just off the mainland between the Jøsenfjorden and the Årdalsfjorden. The large island of Ombo lies to the north and the island of Halsnøya lies to the west. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain, Randåsen. The island is relatively flat in the south and it is more mountainous and forested in the central and northern regions. The island is known for its rich flora.
