Collins Agyarko Nti
Collins Agyarko Nti (born 25 August 1958) is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the first Parliament of the fourth Republic representing the Asante Akyem North constituency in the Ashanti region.Ghana Parliamentary Register 1992–1996 Early life and education Collins Agyarko Nti was born on 25 August 1958 at Asante Akyem North in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He attended Kumasi Polytechnic (now Kumasi Technical University) and obtained his Bachelor of Science after he studied chemistry. Politics Collins Agyarko Nti was first elected into parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress during the 1992 Ghanaian general elections for the Asante Akim North constituency in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He contested again in 1996 and lost to Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu who polled 63% of the valid votes cast whilst Collins Agyarko polled 27%. Opoku Nti
Samuel Opoku Nti (born January 23, 1961, in Kumasi) is a former Ghanaian football forward. Biography He is generally considered to have been Ghana's top footballer in the early to mid-1980s; before the international advent of Abedi Pele. Opoku Nti featured in Ghana's victorious 1982 African cup winning side as well as the unsuccessful 1984 squad; which was eliminated in the 1st round of the competition. In the 1992 African Cup, he was controversially left on the substitutes bench for the majority of the tournament in favour of Mohammed Gargo, Stanley Aboraa, and Nii Lamptey - all of whom were considerably less experienced than Nti. His nickname is "Zico," in honour of the Brazilian footballer and 1983 FIFA player of the year. In 1983 Opoku Nti, while playing for Asante Kotoko, finished as runner-up for the prestigious France Football African Footballer of the Year award. Theophidack Nti
Theophidack "Kofi" Nti (3 April 1977 – 26 April 2017) was a Ghanaian footballer. Career He joined Nania F.C. from the second division side in Madina United in 2001, during this period he led the team to be promoted into the Ghanaian first division league. In 2003, he captained the team in its first major tournament in Switzerland in which Nania won a bronze medal, he won an MVP award in that tournament. In 2004, the team won a silver medal in Germany, during its second outing in Europe, Nti captained the team and won an award as one of the most outstanding midfielders of the tournament. He captained Nania in another tournament in Switzerland the same year in which Nania won a silver medal.
