Mario Delgado (born April 18, 1980), better known by his stage name Mars, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, record producer, photographer, and actor from the San Francisco Bay Area city of Pittsburg, California, who often performs with a Hannibal Lecter-style mask. He specializes in horrorcore music. Personal life Mars was born in Antioch, California, and raised throughout East Contra Costa County, primarily in the city of Pittsburg. He is of Mexican-American ethnicity. He attended Liberty High School and Pittsburg Adult Education before dropping out of his regular curriculum and enrolling in various college courses, including photography, marketing, mass communication, and publication design. Horrorcore
Horrorcore, also called horror hip hop, horror rap, death hip hop, or death rap, is a subgenre of hip hop music based on horror-themed and often darkly transgressive lyrical content and imagery.
