MAPPA
is a Japanese animation studio headquartered in Suginami, Tokyo. Chainsaw Man
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its first part was serialized in Shueisha's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from December 2018 to December 2020; its second part began serialization in Shueisha's ''Shōnen Jump+'' online magazine in July 2022. Its chapters have been collected in 13 ''tankōbon'' volumes as of January 2023. Masao Maruyama (film Producer)
is a Japanese anime producer and anime entrepreneur, the co-founder of Madhouse (company), Madhouse, as well as the founder of MAPPA (studio), MAPPA and Studio M2. He is the current chairman of MAPPA and president of Studio M2. Maruyama has been involved in the Japanese animation business for more than 50 years. He has worked with many well-known and up-and-coming animators, established several animation production companies, worked on dozens of series and films and planned and produced various works. Maruyama is one of the most experienced producers in the Japanese animation industry, and has given opportunities to individuals who went on to become accomplished directors in their own right. Zombie Land Saga
is an anime television series produced by MAPPA, Avex Pictures and Cygames. The series aired in Japan between October and December 2018. is a Japanese sports anime television series about figure skating. The series was produced by MAPPA, directed and written by Sayo Yamamoto with original scripts by Mitsurō Kubo under the chief direction of Jun Shishido. Character designs were handled by Tadashi Hiramatsu, and its music was composed by Taro Umebayashi and Taku Matsushiba. Dororo
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the manga artist Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka's childhood memory of his friends pronouncing as ''dororo'' inspired the title of the series.
