TV5 (Philippine TV Network)
TV5 (also known as 5 and formerly known as ABC) is a Philippine free-to-air television network based in Mandaluyong, with its alternate studios located in Novaliches, Quezon City. It is the flagship property of TV5 Network, Inc. with Cignal TV as its main content provider, both owned by MediaQuest Holdings, the multimedia arm of Philippine-based telecommunications company PLDT. TV5 is also formally referred to as "The ''Kapatid'' Network", the Filipino term for "sibling", which was introduced in 2010. Named after its flagship station in Metro Manila, DWET-TV, which are carried in VHF Channel 5 (analog broadcast) and UHF Channel 51 (digital test broadcast; the latter is licensed to TV5's sister company Mediascape/Cignal TV), TV5 is also broadcasting to seven other owned-and-operated stations and seven affiliate television stations nationwide, as well as on all cable and satellite TV providers nationwide. The Big Story (TV Program)
''The Big Story'' is a primetime newscast currently broadcast on One News every weeknights at 8:00 PM ( PST). It also served as the de facto late-night newscast of TV5 from March to September 2019. It is anchored by Roby Alampay and Gretchen Ho. History Bloomberg TV Philippines launches its first-ever primetime news program, ''The Big Story'', which was first aired on October 24, 2016, at 8:45 pm. It continued to run until the local Bloomberg channel relaunched as One News on May 28, 2018, and expanded its airtime, with an earlier timeslot at 8:00 pm. On March 4, 2019, the program began broadcasting on free TV via One News' sister channel, TV5, replacing '' Aksyon Tonite'' as a late-night newscast and airs every weeknights at 10:00 PM, ( PST). That's My Job (Philippine TV Program)
That's My Job is a Philippine television program aired over ABC-5. The program premiered on July 5, 2008 and last aired on August 2, 2008 due to ABC-5's farewell broadcasts before converting and reformatting to TV5. The station, as TV5, reopened the following day and made a grand launch on August 9, 2008 after the 22nd Anniversary of EDSA Revolution. That's My Job, originally aired on IBC-13, returned on TV5 after 3 years of hiatus, hosted by Isko Moreno and Mara Alejandro, and was aired from August 4, 2012 to December 29, 2012 after Christmas season. ''Dokumentado'' (lit. ''Documented'') is a tabloid news comedy television show that premiered on April 7, 2010 on TV5. Background The TV show is about different personalities caught on act by reporters of News5. The format was somewhat similar to TMZ, except that it focuses more on politics rather than showbiz. It was first hosted by News5 head Luchi Cruz-Valdes. The reporters tell stories of different personalities in politics and showbiz.
