''Unitalia'' is a minor far-right Italian nationalist political party active in South Tyrol, Italy. The party, founded in 1996 as a split from National Alliance, has since been led by Donato Seppi. In the late 2000s the party was briefly the provincial section of The Right and, later, of the Movement for Italy in South Tyrol. Ladins Dolomites is a minor political party representing the Ladin-speaking minority in South Tyrol. History The party, whose original name was Ladins Political Movement ( lld, Moviment Politich Ladins, MPL), was founded in the early 1990s by Carlo Willeit, who led it in the 1993 provincial election (2.0% of the vote and 1 seat, for Willeit himself) and in 1998 provincial election (3.6%, along with the Democratic Party of South Tyrol, and 1 seat). The Democratic Union of Alto Adige ( it, Unione Democratica dell'Alto Adige) was an Italian-speaking Christian-democratic political party active in South Tyrol, Italy. The South Tyrolean Homeland Federation (german: Südtiroler Heimatbund, SHB) was a political party active in South Tyrol. It was launched in 1983 as Election Association of Homeland Federation (''Wahlverband des Heimatbundes'', ''Heimatbund'') and won 4.2% in the 1983 general election and 2.6% in the 1983 provincial election, enough for granting Eva Klotz a seat in the Provincial Council. In 1988 the party obtained 2.3% and Klotz was re-elected to the Council. New Left (Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol)
The New Left (german: Neue Linke, it, Nuova Sinistra, NL-NS) was a list which contexted the 1978 Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol regional election. The list was led by Alexander Langer, a former member of Lotta Continua. NL-NS opposed the dominant ethnic division in South Tyrolean politics. NL-NS won 12,315 votes (4.38%) in Trentino and 9,753 votes (3.65%) in South Tyrol. In total, NL-NS obtained 4.03% of the votes cast in the election.
