Jack Leasure
John Richard "Jack" Leasure (born January 29, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his career playing in the New Zealand National Basketball League for the Taranaki Mountainairs. He is best known for his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina University in which he was named the 2006 Big South Conference Player of the Year and finished with 411 made three-point field goals, which was the fifth-highest NCAA Division I total at the time of his graduation in 2008. He is currently the head basketball coach at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, New York. Daniel Leasure
Daniel Leasure (March 18, 1819 – October 10, 1886) was an American soldier and physician who served as a colonel and brigade commander in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Early life Leasure was born in 1819 near Pittsburgh in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He attended Greersburg Academy in nearby Darlington in Beaver County from 1838 to 1840. Afterwards, he spent time in medical school in Pittsburgh. Civil War Leasure held the rank of colonel in the IX Corps through most of the war. His regiment, the 100th Pennsylvania Infantry, was known as the "Roundheads" because it was recruited from descendants of the followers of Oliver Cromwell. The regiment first saw action in the command of Brig. Gen. Isaac I. Stevens at the Battle of Secessionville in South Carolina on June 16, 1862. Althea Flynt (née Leasure; November 6, 1953 – June 27, 1987) was the co-publisher of Flynt's pornography magazine, ''Hustler,'' and the fourth wife of Larry Flynt. Early life Althea Leasure was born November 6, 1953, in Marietta, Ohio. Althea and her four siblings, Sherry, Debbie, Marsha and Richard, came from an abusive home. When Althea was eight, her father Richard shot and killed her mother, June, her grandfather, and June's best friend and neighbor, before fatally shooting himself. Althea's grandmother was present during the incident, but survived by hiding in the nearby creek. Althea and three of her siblings were later put into the OSSO Home (Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphanage) in Xenia, Ohio, which she ran away from multiple times after being sexually molested when sent to possible adopters' homes. William Leasure
William Ernest Leasure (born 1946) is an American murderer and former police officer. While an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), he was involved in two contract killings. Background and career Leasure was a Los Angeles Police Department officer assigned to the Central Traffic Division. At the time of his arrest, Leasure had been a police officer for 16 years.
