Gino Landi
Luigi Gregori (2 August 1933 – 17 January 2023), popularly known as Gino Landi, was an Italian choreographer, and stage and television director. Biography Gino Landi was born on 2 August 1933 in Milan on the stage of the Teatro Dal Verme to two variety artists who were working there. He began his career as a dancer but later changed to choreography. He was brought into the limelight by Erminio Macario while he was performing ''Bulli e pupe'' with Fanfulla. Career Landi notably collaborated with composer Nino Rota, filmmaker Federico Fellini, and screenwriter Ennio Flaiano . Alex Landi (born September 28, 1992) is an American actor and model of Korean-Italian descent, best known for his role as Dr. Nico Kim on ABC's ''Grey's Anatomy''. Early life and education Landi was born in New York City. His mother, Nana Landi, is Korean and immigrated to the United States at age 15 with her family, settling in the Northern Valley, New Jersey. Cecile Canqueteau-Landi (born October 3, 1979) is a French gymnastics coach and former artistic gymnast. She competed at the 1996 Olympics and currently coaches at World Champions Centre in Spring, Texas. She coached from 2007 to 2017 at the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy. The Landi were a noble family from Piacenza, in northern Italy. From 1551 to 1582, they were princes of the Val di Taro, now in the province of Parma, at that time in papal territory. Stefano Landi (baptized 26 February 1587 – 28 October 1639) was an Italian composer and teacher of the early Baroque Roman School. He was an influential early composer of opera, and wrote the earliest opera on a historical subject: ''Il Sant'Alessio'' (1632). Biography Landi was born in Rome, the capital of the Papal States. In 1595 he joined the Collegio Germanico in Rome as a boy soprano, and he may have studied with Asprilio Pacelli. Landi took minor orders in 1599 and began studying at the Seminario Romano in 1602. Laurent Landi (born 18 October 1977) is a French-American artistic gymnastics coach and retired gymnast. He was formerly a coach at the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy until 2017, when he began working at the World Champions Centre as the Women's Team director as well as serving as the head coach to Simone Biles.
