Kilig
In the context of Philippine culture, the Tagalog word ''"kilig"'' refers to the feeling of excitement due to various love circumstances such as making first eye contact with one's crush or watching another person propose to someone. The term kilig can also refer to having a butterfly in one's stomach, and the feeling of being flushed that only a certain person can make one feel. It is a romantic excitement. There is no exact equivalent English term for kilig. Definition There is no clear definition of the concept or a definite translation into English. Some of the not so accurate translations include "giddiness," "shudder," "tremble," "tingle" and "thrill." The word is much closer to the idiomatic expression " tickle pink." Contextualization (sociolinguistics)
Contextualization in sociolinguistics refers to the use of language (both spoken language and body language) to signal relevant aspects of an interaction or communicative situation. This may include clues to who is talking, their relationship, where the conversation is occurring, and much more. These clues can be drawn from how the language is being used, what type of language is being used (formal versus informal), and the participants tone of voice (Andersen and Risør 2014). Contextualization includes verbal and non-verbal clues of things such as the power dynamic or the situation apparent from a conversation being analyzed or participated in. Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. Limerence is a state of mind which results from romantic or non-romantic feelings for another person, and typically includes intrusive, melancholic thoughts and/or tragic concerns for the object of one's affection as well as a desire to form or maintain a relationship with the object of love and to have one's feelings reciprocated.
