Inky Mark (; born November 17, 1947) is a Canadian politician and a former member of the House of Commons of Canada, representing the Manitoba riding of Dauphin—Swan River—Marquette. Mark was a member of the Conservative Party of Canada, although he frequently criticized and took positions opposite the party and its leader, Stephen Harper. Mark ran in the 2015 federal election, noting that he is now a Green Party of Canada member but that he would still run as an independent. He lost significantly. Enoch S. "Inky" Moore Jr. (1925 – October 15, 2000) was a conservation advocate from North Newton Township, Newville, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo, New York. Later he joined the United States Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War. Pete Incaviglia
Peter Joseph Incaviglia (born April 2, 1964), is an American former professional baseball left fielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 12 seasons (–), for six different big league teams, also spending one year in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Incaviglia was drafted in the first round (eighth overall pick) by the Montreal Expos in the 1985 Major League Baseball draft out of Oklahoma State University, then was traded later that same year to the Texas Rangers. He debuted in the major leagues on April 8, 1986, without having spent any time in the minor leagues. His last MLB game was on September 27, 1998. Keith Ingram (headmaster)
Richard ''Keith'' Ingram (16 February 1929 – 5 January 2007) – known by the nickname "Inky" – was a long-serving headmaster of the Dragon School in Oxford, England, from 1965 until 1989. Biography Keith Ingram was the son of John and Marie Ingram of Wimbledon, southwest London, England. He was educated at King's College School in Wimbledon. In 1948, he left school and taught at a preparatory school in Reigate for a year. He then attended Brasenose College, Oxford, reading Greats. A sporting injury exempted him from National Service. Ingram was offered a teaching position at the Dragon School for one term in 1953. He remained there for the rest of his career, a total of 36 years, teaching Latin and Greek and coaching rugby. In 1965, Ingram was chosen to succeed the previous headmaster Joc Lynam (1902–1978), starting a new and successful era in the history of the school. Inky (ghost)
originally called ''Puck Man'' in Japan, is a 1980 maze action video game developed and released by Namco for arcades. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America. The player controls Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called "Power Pellets" causes the ghosts to temporarily turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points. Game development began in early 1979, directed by Toru Iwatani with a nine-man team. Iwatani wanted to create a game that could appeal to women as well as men, because most video games of the time had themes of war or sports. Although the inspiration for the Pac-Man character was the image of a pizza with a slice removed, Iwatani has said he also rounded out the Japanese character for mouth, kuchi ( ja, 口). Inky (police Dog)
Inky was a police dog who appeared in the British police drama '' Softly, Softly: Taskforce'' during 1969–70. His handler was PC Snow, played by Terence Rigby. He is remembered for a minor stir he caused on British television. The scriptwriter wanted to show something of the dangers police officers sometimes faced in their work, but thought it might upset the viewers if one of the characters was killed, so he wrote an episode where the police dog was shot and killed by a gunman. The episode was "Escort", the sixteenth and last in series 1 (transmitted 12 March 1970). Some viewers were upset by this episode, and shortly after Inky appeared on the children's programme ''Blue Peter'' to assure children who had seen the programme that he was all right. Inky's replacement on the programme was Radar. Radar died between series and members of the cast were pressured by the BBC to attend the dog's funeral. Inki is the lead character in an animated cartoon series of Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'' short films by animator Chuck Jones. Five Inki cartoons were made between 1939 and 1950. History and description Inki, created for Warner Bros.' ''Merrie Melodies'' series of theatrical animated shorts, is a little African boy who usually dresses in a simple loincloth, armband, legband, earrings, and a bone through his hair. He never speaks. The character's pickaninny look was designed by Disney veteran Bob Givens and was cleaned up by Charlie Thorson. The plot of the first cartoon focuses on little Inki hunting, oblivious to the fact that he himself is being hunted by a hungry lion.
