IKon
iKon (), stylized as iKON, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015 by YG Entertainment, consisting of six members: Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne and Chan. Originally a seven-piece band, leader B.I departed from the group in June 2019. Initially introduced in the reality survival show ''WIN: Who is Next'' as "Team B", the group went on to appear in the 2014 reality survival show ''Mix & Match'', which determined the final member lineup of iKon. Their debut studio album '' Welcome Back'' (2015) debuted atop the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and featured the number-one singles "My Type", "Apology" and "Dumb & Dumber", as well as the top-ten singles "Rhythm Ta", "Airplane" and "Anthem". The album was a commercial success, selling over 260,000 copies in Asia and its individual songs selling over 4.8 million copies, leading the group to receive numerous accolades from major Asian music award shows. ''Return'' (also known as ''New Kids: Return'') is the second studio album by South Korean male group iKon. It was released on January 25, 2018, and is the second of the group's four-part album series, ''The New Kids''. iKon's leader B.I was credited as the only record producer of the album. The album contains 12 songs including the hit lead single "Love Scenario", all written or co-written by B.I. Background After releasing their debut album '' Welcome Back'' in 2015, the group went on several tours for two years, embarking on their first Asia tour and two Japanese tours, including Japan Dome tour, the group sold over 800,000 tickets from these tours, breaking several records for a rookie artist, including being the fastest group to host a concert in a Japan dome since debut. "#WYD" () is a song by South Korean boy group iKon. The single was released by YG Entertainment on May 30, 2016. The song is the first release after their debut album in 2015. South Korean idol group iKon held their debut concert under the name "Showtime" at the Olympics Gymnastics Arena in Seoul on October 3, 2015. Kim Ji-won (; born December 21, 1995), known by his stage name Bobby () is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and member of iKon under YG Entertainment. In 2016, he formed a sub-unit with Mino under the name MOBB. He is best known for finishing in first place on Mnet's survival show: ''Show Me The Money 3''. ''Welcome Back'' is the debut studio album by South Korean male group iKON. The full album was initially planned to be released on November 2, 2015. However, on October 27, 2015, YG Entertainment announced that the release of the full album would be delayed. The album was released on December 24, 2015, along with additional music videos than previously planned.
