Intervention Forces
The intervention forces (german: Eingreifkräfte or ''EK'') are one of the three categories of force within the German Armed Forces (''Bundeswehr''), the others being stabilisation forces and support forces. The formations within the intervention forces which have a total of 35,000 soldiers are primarily intended for crisis intervention and provide the German contributions to the intervention forces such as the NATO Response Force and the forces for rescue and evacuation operations that are fundamentally a national responsibility. Order of battle Army The German Army provides the largest contingent of intervention forces with 20,700 soldiers. The main component of these forces is the 1st Panzer Division, which is distinguished from other "normal" Army divisions by a multitude of permanently assigned divisional combat support troops. Delmenhorst
Delmenhorst (; Northern Low Saxon: ''Demost'') is an urban district (''Kreisfreie Stadt'') in Lower Saxony, Germany. It has a population of 74,500 and is located west of downtown Bremen with which it forms a contiguous urban area, whereas the city of Oldenburg is to the northwest. The eight F122 ''Bremen''-class frigates of the German Navy was a series of frigates commissioned between 1982 and 1990. The design was based on the proven and robust Dutch but used a different propulsion system and hangar lay-out. The 1st Airmobile Brigade (german: Luftbewegliche Brigade 1) was a brigade in the German Army with its headquarters at the Fritzlar Air Base in North Hesse, It was part of the Airmobile Operations Division (Germany). Helicopter Wing 64
Helicopter Wing 64 (german: Hubschraubergeschwader 64) is a wing of the German Air Force (''Luftwaffe''). It was subordinate to Air Force Forces Command until that was disbanded in 2013. In 2015 Helicopter Wing 64 was integrated into Air Force Troops Command which is subordinate to Air Force Command. The wing was formed in 2010. Its headquarters, originally being based at Holzdorf Air Base in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, relocated to Laupheim Air Base on 1 January 2013.
