''Illuminate'' is the second studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes. It was released on September 23, 2016, through Island Records and Universal Music Group. Musically, the album contains music genres pop, rock and blues. The album debuted atop the US ''Billboard'' 200 and the Canadian Albums Chart. It was preceded by the lead single " Treat You Better", which reached the top 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. This album was supported by the Illuminate World Tour, which began in March 2017. ''Illuminate Light & Laser Spectacular'' was a seasonal evening show at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. History On 2 March 2010, Dreamworld announced that they would be adding a light and laser show for the Easter school holidays. The show was included with daily admission, however, guests could purchase a separate Illuminate ticket just to attend the event. The first showing of Illuminate was from 2 April until 16 April 2010. Despite a poor trading period, Ardent Leisure CEO Greg Shaw stated that the launch of Illuminate was a success. In early May 2010, it was reported that Dreamworld was evaluating the possibility to incorporate Illuminate into night dance parties. Rather than going ahead with dance parties, Dreamworld began to incorporate the show into the existing Screamworld night events. Karmacoda
Karmacoda are an American trip hop group based in San Francisco, CA. The group currently includes singer Jessica Ford, singer/guitarist B., and bassist Eric Matsuno. History Karmacoda was formed in 2000 by singer/guitarist B. (Brett Crockett) and singer Heather Pierce, who shared an interest in trip hop and drum and bass. Their group name was inspired by the song "Karmacoma" by Massive Attack. Drummer Bruce Fulford and bassist Brian Templeton completed the lineup. The group released their debut album ''Reco Mended'' in 2001, before they had performed live. On this album B. and Pierce shared lead vocals, but Pierce would become the dominant singer on later albums.
