Graeme Hick
Graeme Ashley Hick (born 23 May 1966) is a Zimbabwean-born former England cricketer who played 65 Test matches and 120 One Day Internationals for England. He was born in Rhodesia, and as a young man played international cricket for Zimbabwe. He played English county cricket for Worcestershire for his entire English domestic career, a period of well over twenty years, and in 2008 surpassed Graham Gooch's record for the most matches in all forms of the game combined. He scored more than 40,000 first-class runs, mostly from number three in the order, and he is one of only three players to have passed 20,000 runs in List A cricket (Graham Gooch and Sachin Tendulkar are the others) and is one of only twenty-five players to have scored 100 centuries in first-class cricket. He is the only cricketer who scored first-class triple hundreds in three different decades (1988, 1997 and 2002). Benjamin Hick (1 August 1790 – 9 September 1842) was an English civil and mechanical engineer, art collector and patron; his improvements to the steam engine and invention of scientific tools were held in high esteem by the engineering profession, some of Hick's improvements became public property without claiming the patent rights he was entitled to. Bruce Hick (born 20 August 1963 in Rockhampton, Queensland) is an Australian national champion, three time World Champion and dual Olympian lightweight rower. He represented Australia over a fifteen-year period and rowed at ten World Rowing Championships. Club and state rowing A sculler, Hick's senior rowing started from the Leichhardt Rowing Club in Rockhampton, Queensland. He first began contesting national championships events at the Australian Rowing Championships in 1985 in an u/23 single scull – he placed second. By 1987 Hick had relocated to Canberra. Rarriwuy Hick (born ) is an Aboriginal Australian award winning actress, known for her roles in the television series ''Redfern Now'', ''Cleverman'', ''Wentworth'' and '' True Colours''. Early life and education Hick was born around 1991 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up in both the suburb of Lilyfield, and in Dhalinybuy, an Aboriginal community in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Edwin Pentland Hick (21 July 1919 – 6 March 2016) was a British entrepreneur, author, publisher, and veteran of World War II. Hick is best known for founding the Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo in North Yorkshire Military service Hick served with the Eighth Army as a sergeant in the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1939 to 1945. Andrew Hick (born ) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played professionally in England and Australia. Playing career Hick played for the Engadine Dragons before making his début for the local Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the NSWRL Premiership in 1991. He played in 44 matches for the Sharks over the next five years before transferring to the Western Suburbs Magpies in 1996. In 1997 he switched to Super League (Australasia), Super League, joining the new Adelaide Rams franchise.
