August Hirt
August Hirt (28 April 1898 – 2 June 1945) was an anatomist with Swiss and German nationality who served as a chairman at the Reich University in Strasbourg during World War II. He performed experiments with mustard gas on inmates at the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp and played a lead role in the murders of 86 people at Natzweiler-Struthof for the Jewish skull collection. The skeletons of his victims were meant to become specimens at the Institute of anatomy in Strasbourg, but completion of the project was stopped by the progress of the war. He was an ''SS-Hauptsturmführer'' (captain) and in 1944, an ''SS-Sturmbannführer'' (major). World War I, post-war education and joining the Nazi party Hirt was the son of a Swiss business man. Alois Maxwell "Al" Hirt (November 7, 1922 – April 27, 1999) was an American trumpeter and bandleader. He is best remembered for his million-selling recordings of "Java" and the accompanying album ''Honey in the Horn'' (1963), and for the theme music to ''The Green Hornet''. His nicknames included "Jumbo" and "The Round Mound of Sound". Colin Escott, an author of musician biographies, wrote that RCA Victor, for which Hirt had recorded most of his best-selling recordings and for which he had spent most of his professional recording career, had dubbed him with another moniker: "The King." Hirt was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in November 2009. He received 21 Grammy nominations during his lifetime, including winning the Grammy award in 1964 for his version of "Java". Career Hirt joined in 2012 as a stagiaire, later becoming a member of the team in 2013 before moving to the following year. During the 2014 season, he came third in the general classification (GC) of the Tour Alsace, four seconds behind Jack Haig and ten seconds behind winner Karel Hnik. In 2015, Hirt moved to where he competed in the Tour of Austria, Tour de Suisse, Tour of Turkey, Volta a Catalunya, Tour de Pologne, and the Il Lombardia in the same year. Ferenc Hirt (29 September 1967 – 7 December 2018) was a Hungarian entrepreneur and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Tamási (Tolna County Constituency V) from 2006 to 2014, and for Paks (Tolna County Constituency III) from 2014 to 2018. Hermann Hirt (19 December 1865 in Magdeburg – 12 September 1936 in Gießen) was a German philologist and Indo-Europeanist. Biography Hirt wrote on German metres (''Untersuchungen zur westgermanischen Verskunst'', 1889), edited Schopenhauer's ''Parerga'' (1890), and then devoting himself to Indo-Germanic philology made special studies on accent, writing ''Der indogermanische Accent'' (1895) and ''Der indogermanische Ablaut, vornehmlich in seinem Verhältnis zur Betonung'' (1900). Hirt, who became professor at the University of Leipzig, made valuable contributions to Brugmann and Streitberg's ''Indogermanische Forschungen'', on the morphology of case endings. John Hirt OAM (born 1943) is an Australian pastor, educator, and one of the leaders of the radical discipleship movement in Australia. Education Hirt attended the NSW Baptist Theological College, where he obtained the Licentiate in Theology, and was subsequently ordained as a Baptist minister. Later he studied in the Department of Studies in Religion, at the University of Sydney, where he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
