Fuzz (film)
''Fuzz'' is a 1972 American action comedy film directed by Richard A. Colla and starring Burt Reynolds, Yul Brynner, Raquel Welch, Tom Skerritt and Jack Weston. The screenplay was written by Evan Hunter based on the 1968 novel of the same name that is part of his ''87th Precinct'' written under the pen name Ed McBain. Dave Grusin composed the film's soundtrack score. Noted illustrator Richard Amsel painted the poster artwork, featuring Reynolds in a reclining pose reminiscent of his famous centerfold in Cosmopolitan magazine appearing earlier that year. Although the ''87th Precinct'' novels are set in a fictional metropolis based on New York City, ''Fuzz'' is set in, and was shot on location in, Boston, Massachusetts. Mucc
is a Japanese visual kei rock band, formed in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1997. The classic line up of Tatsuro on vocals, Miya on guitar, Yukke on bass, and Satochi on drums was solidified in 1999 following the departure of original bassist Hiro. After 24 years, Satochi retired from the music business in October 2021, leaving Mucc a trio. They have released 16 studio albums, with 2020's '' Aku'' being their highest-charting. History Early years and releases (1997–2005) Mucc was formed in 1997 by guitarist Miya, vocalist Tatsuro (then called "Tattoo"), bassist Hiro, and drummer Satochi. Deep Banana Blackout
Deep Banana Blackout is a funk rock band formed in the summer of 1995 when a group of like minded musicians hailing from New York and Connecticut joined forces to play Soul and R&B covers from the 60’s and 70’s for the pure love of that music. As the band members chemistry became apparent, all other projects fell to the wayside so that they could focus on writing and arranging original material. The band soon became a highly acclaimed musical force on the East Coast underground live music scene. María Fernanda Malo (born November 19, 1985), also known as Fuzz, is a Mexican film and television actress, best known for her role in the telenovela ''Rebelde''. John Richard Keith "Fuzz" Townshend (born 31 July 1964) is a British drummer, TV presenter of National Geographic Channel's ''Car SOS'' (also shown on Channel 4/More4), motoring journalist for ''Classic Car Weekly'', former technical editor of ''Practical Classics'', and mechanic. He is also honorary president of the Triumph Sports Six Club. He also had a solo music career from 1996 to 2002. The early years Townshend's Afro hair was unique in his junior school and so, at seven years of age, his school chums renamed him Fuzz. His mother won a Vauxhall Chevette in a national newspaper competition when he was ten; having never learned to drive, she instead opted to take the prize in cash and spent it buying her son a drum kit. Disturbed (band)
Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes vocalist David Draiman, guitarist/keyboardist Dan Donegan, bassist John Moyer, and drummer Mike Wengren. Donegan and Wengren have been involved in the band since its inception, with Moyer replacing former bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak and Draiman replacing original lead vocalist Erich Awalt. Calvin "Fuzz" Jones (June 9, 1926 – August 9, 2010) was an American electric blues bassist and singer. He worked with many blues musicians, including Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, the Legendary Blues Band, Mississippi Heat, James Cotton, Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, Little Walter and Elmore James. He contributed to the collaborative 1996 album ''Eye to Eye'', which also featured Pinetop Perkins, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Ronnie Earl and Bruce Katz. Life and career Jones was born in Greenwood, Mississippi, and raised on a farm near Inverness, Mississippi. Albert Eugene "Fuzz" White (June 27, 1916 – April 24, 2003) was a Major League Baseball center fielder who played for the St. Louis Browns (1940) and New York Giants (1947). His career was unusual in that he went almost seven years between major league appearances. During World War II, White served in the Army. White made his first two major league appearances (September, 1940) as a pinch-hitter, going 0-for-2. Six years later, on November 1, 1946 he was drafted by the New York Giants from the Browns in the 1946 rule V draft. Then, next season, at the age of 31, he played in seven games for the Giants. At the plate he went 3-for-13 with three runs scored, and on defense recorded 11 putouts with no errors.
