Flanderization
Flanderization is the process through which a fictional character's essential traits are exaggerated over the course of a serial work. The term ''flanderization'' was coined by TV Tropes in reference to Ned Flanders of ''The Simpsons'', who was caricatured over the show's run from a friendly and good-hearted neighbor who was religious among other characteristics into a dogmatic, evangelical " bible-thumper". Flanderization has been analysed as an aspect of serial works, especially television comedies, that demonstrates a work's gradual decline. Ned Flanders
Nedward "Ned" Flanders Jr. is a fictional character in the animated television series ''The Simpsons'', voiced by Harry Shearer and first appearing in the series premiere episode "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire." TikTok, known in China as Douyin (), is a short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. TikTok is an international version of Douyin, which was released in the Chinese market in September 2016. It launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018. The Beat Generation was a literary subculture movement started by a group of authors whose work explored and influenced American culture and politics in the post-war era. Beatniks were members of a social movement in the 1950s that subscribed to an anti-materialistic lifestyle.
