Oscar Christian Gundersen
Oscar Christian Gundersen (17 March 1908 – 21 February 1991) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. During his student days he was a member of Mot Dag. Gundersen graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1931. During Gerhardsen's Second Cabinet he was appointed Minister of Justice and the Police, a post he a year into the new Torp's Cabinet. He left in 1952 and became a Supreme Court Justice the next year. In 1958 he left that position to become Norwegian ambassador to the Soviet Union, a post he held until 1961. He was then appointed Minister of Trade and Shipping from 1962 to 1963 during the third cabinet Gerhardsen. In August 1963 the cabinet Lyng assumed office, but a fourth cabinet Gerhardsen returned to power a month later. Karl Trasti
Karl Trasti (19 February 1917 - 4 October 1976) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. During the third cabinet Gerhardsen he was appointed state secretary to the Minister of Finance in 1955, a post he held one year. He was later appointed Minister of Pay and Prices in 1962, and held that post to 1964 except for the month-long tenure of the cabinet Lyng in 1963. He then changed to Minister of Industry, but lost his job when the cabinet fell in 1965. Olav Gjærevoll (24 September 1916 – 30 August 1994) was a Norwegian botanist and politician for the Labour Party. Gjærevoll was a professor of botany at the University of Trondheim from 1958 to 1986, and was a specialist in alpine plants. In politics, he served as Minister of Social Affairs from February to August 1963 and again from September 1963 to October 1965; as the last Minister of Pay and Prices from 1971 to 1972 and as the first Minister of the Environment from May to October 1972. Helge Sivertsen (12 June 1913 – 21 December 1986) was a Norwegian school administrator and elected official. He was best known as a champion discus thrower in the 1936 Summer Olympics. Biography He was born at Mandal in Vest-Agder, Norway. He was the son of Nils Sivertsen (1877-1955) and Martha Heddeland (1883-1962). His father was a college teacher and the family moved to Inderøy in 1926. He attended folk school (''Orkdal Landslymnas'') and took artium in 1933. Sivertsen was a historian by education. Jens Haugland (16 April 1910 – 2 May 1991) was a Norwegian jurist and politician for the Labour Party. Haugland was born at Bjelland in Vest-Agder, Norway. He studied law at the University of Oslo and graduated as cand.jur. in 1936.
