Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Yevtushenko ( rus, links=no, 1=Евге́ний Алекса́ндрович Евтуше́нко; 18 July 1933 – 1 April 2017) was a Soviet and Russian poet. He was also a novelist, essayist, dramatist, screenwriter, publisher, actor, editor, university professor, and director of several films. Biography Early life Yevtushenko was born Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Gangnus (he later took his mother's last name, Yevtushenko) in the Irkutsk region of Siberia in a small town called Zima on 18 July 1933 to a peasant family of noble descent. He had Russian, Baltic German, Ukrainian, Polish, Belarusian, and Tatar roots. His maternal great-grandfather Joseph Baikovsky belonged to szlachta, while his wife was of Ukrainian descent. They were exiled to Siberia after a peasant rebellion headed by Joseph. One of their daughters – Maria Baikovskaya – married Ermolai Naumovich Yevtushenko who was of Belarusian descent. Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov (russian: Владимир Петрович Евтушенков; born 25 September 1948) is a Russian billionaire business oligarch. He is the majority owner (49.2%) and former сhairman of Sistema. Alexander "Sasha" Yevtushenko (born 31 January 1979) is a director and producer of radio dramas for BBC Radio. He is a son of Russian poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko and his third wife, English translator Jan Butler. In 2016 an adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov's ''The Master and Margarita'' produced by Yevtushenko won the BBC Audio Drama Award in the Best Adaptation category. Vadym Anatolyovich Yevtushenko ( uk, Вадим Анатолійович Євтушенко) (born 1 January 1958) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who played as a midfielder or striker. Career During his career he played almost exclusively for Dynamo Kyiv. He earned 12 caps for the USSR national team and was included in the squads for the 1982 (he did not play in any games there) and 1986 World Cups. He scored his only goal for USSR on 26 July 1983 in a friendly against East Germany. He scored a goal as Dynamo Kyiv won the 1986 European Cup Winners' Cup Final. In the late 1980s Yevtushenko moved to Sweden and became Swedish champion with AIK in 1992. After concluding his playing career in Sweden at IK Sirius two years later, he remained in Swedish football as first an assistant and then head coach for longer than a decade before moving back to Ukrainian football after 2008.
