Go-go dancing originated in the early 1960s at the French bar Whisky a Gogo located in Juan-les-Pins. Grinding, also known as juking, freak dancing or freaking (in the Caribbean, wining) is a type of close partner dance where two or more dancers rub or bump their bodies against each other, most often with a male dancer rubbing or bumping his genitials against a female dancer's buttocks. In the West, a fan dance (i.e., a dance performed with fans) may be an erotic dance performance, traditionally by a woman, but not exclusively.
