Eleventyseven (stylized eleventyseven) is an American pop punk band from Greenville, South Carolina which was formed in 2002. They chose the name "Eleventyseven" because "it's the one that looked cool the next morning". The band was originally signed to Flicker Records and released two albums with the label that charted on Christian music charts. After an independent streak, the band signed on to Sony Japan before returning to an independent status a year later. They continued to tour, self produce and release music independently until disbanding in September 2014. In late 2016, the band announced via social media that they have come back together to record a new album. They have since returned to independently touring and recording music while maintaining Eleventylife, a music-centric podcast where they frequently interview guests associated with different aspects of the music industry at large. Critical reception The album garnered mostly mixed to negative reviews upon its release from professional music sites and reviews. ''Galactic Conquest'' is the second full-length album by the Christian pop punk band Eleventyseven. The album was released on September 4, 2007, through Flicker Records. In December, 2017, ten years after release, a limited edition vinyl pressing and release of ''Galactic Conquest'' occurred. Critical reception The album received a wide variety of reviews ranging from positive to very negative. New Release Tuesday praised the album saying "Overall, a must-have for anybody looking for original Christian music. The style is great and Eleventyseven have really found their niche. I mean, nobody else does it, and they do it perfectly. I would love to see the style throughout their next album, but this is one of my favorites for the year." MTVU (formerly stylized as MtvU and mtvU) is an American digital cable TV channel owned by the MTV Entertainment Group, a unit of the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel was first known as VH1 Uno from 2000 to 2004 before changing names when Viacom expanded MTVU programming beyond more than 750 college and university campuses across the United States, as part of internally originated cable systems that are a part of on-campus housing or college closed-circuit television systems to digital cable in all homes.
