Frank Ehmann
Frank A. Ehmann is an American former basketball player known for his All-American college career at Northwestern University. Ehmann joined Northwestern from nearby St. George High School in Evanston, Illinois. He was able to play for the Wildcats as a freshman due to a temporary relaxation of NCAA eligibility rules due to the Korean War. He made the most of his opportunity, earning a starting role that he would hold for four varsity seasons. After two solid years, Ehmann became a primary scorer for the Wildcats as a junior in the 1953–54 season. He averaged 18.2 points per game and at the end of the season was named second-team All-Big Ten Conference and Northwestern's most valuable player for the season. As a senior, Ehmann spent the year in contention for the Big Ten scoring title as he upped his average to 23.9 points per game. Wilhelm Ehmann
Wilhelm Ehmann (5 December 1904 – 16 April 1989) was a German musicologist, editor, church musician and conductor. He founded the choir Westfälische Kantorei that toured internationally and made many recordings. He was a cofounder and director of the later Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Herford. Career Ehmann was born in Freistatt, the son of a dean at the Bethel Institution. After working as an elementary school teacher for a short time, he studied musicology at the universities of Freiburg and Leipzig, with Wilibald Gurlitt, among others. He was promoted to Ph.D. in Freiburg. He worked first as an assistant at the university and ''Gauchormeister'' of Baden. He joined the Nazi Party in 1937. Fred K. Karl Ehmann
Karl Ehmann (13 August 1882 – 1 November 1967) was an Austrian stage and film actor whose career spanned both the silent and sound eras of the film industry. Career Born on 13 August 1882 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary, he became interested in acting as a young man, studying in a private master class with the famous Austrian stage actor, Karl Arnau. He made his stage debut at the age of 20 in the municipal theater of Olomouc, Moravia (now part of the Czech Republic). Over the next five years he would appear in productions in Meran, South Tyrol, Linz, Upper Austria, and Graz, Austria. In 1908 he would begin a 30-year association with the Deutsche Volkstheater in Vienna. While he concentrated mostly on the theater during his early career, he did appear in a small role in the Austrian film, ''Der Unbekannte'' (''The Unknown'') in 1912.
