''Go Fish'' is a 1994 American drama film written by Guinevere Turner and Rose Troche and directed by Rose Troche. The film was a groundbreaking, hip, low-budget comedy that celebrated lesbian culture on all levels, and launched the career of director Troche and Turner. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1994, and was the first film to be sold to a distributor, Samuel Goldwyn, during that event for $450,000. The film was released during gay pride month in June 1994 and eventually grossed $2.4 million. ''Go Fish'' proved the marketability of lesbian issues for the film industry. Plot Max is a young lesbian college student in Chicago who has gone ten months without having sex. Evy Gunilla Palm (born January 31, 1942 in Lidköping, Västra Götaland) is a female athlete from Sweden, who competes in the long-distance events. She represented her native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing in 24th place in the women's marathon at the age of 46. In the lead up to the Olympics, she set the current Masters W45 World Record in the 10,000 metres. Palm is a three-time winner of the Stockholm Marathon. Eevee is a 4-piece band from Davao City. They emerged as champions of the Nescafe 3-in-1 Soundskool in 2009. History The band was formed in 2009 as the Enzo Villegas Band. At that time, they joined the Nescafe 3 in 1 Soundskool, where they emerged as champions. As part of the prize, they signed with Sony Music. They relocated to Manila not long after and renamed as Eevee after the Pokémon of the same name.
