Evan Blass, once known solely by his pen name @evleaks, is an American blogger, editor, and phone leaker. He gained international notoriety for a series of numerous smartphone and tablet leaks on Twitter, spanning the period July 2012 through August 2014, that made him a trusted source for many technology journalists. Blass announced his retirement from leaking devices in a tweet on August 3, 2014, although he soon returned to leaking under his pen name. Career From 2005–2008, Blass held several positions at AOL-owned technology site Engadget, including senior editor, before departing to write briefly for the now defunct technology publication Obsessable. From 2010–2012, Blass was managing editor of mobile technology site Pocketnow. LG G3
The LG G3 is an Android smartphone developed by LG Electronics as part of the LG G series. First released in South Korea on May 28, 2014, it is a successor to 2013's LG G2. Inheriting design elements from the G2, such as its thin screen bezels and rear-mounted power and volume buttons, the G3 is distinguished primarily by being the first smartphone from a major manufacturer to incorporate a 1440p display, and its inclusion of an infrared hybrid autofocus system for its camera. Its video resolution has been upgraded to 2160p (4K). The Droid Turbo is a high end smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility. It is part of the Verizon Droid line, and was announced on October 28, 2014 on the Verizon Droid Does website. The Droid Turbo maintains a similar design shape to its predecessor, the Droid Maxx, with new durable ballistic nylon or metallized glass fiber reinforced with Kevlar as the materials offered.
