Øivind Elgenes
Øivind Elgenes alias "Elg" (born 13 February 1958 in Kristiansund, Norway) is a Norwegian vocalist, guitarist and composer, known from a series of recordings and as front figure of the Norwegian band Dance with a Stranger. Career Elgenes was raised in Kristiansund together with musicians Lynni Treekrem and Frode Alnæs. With the latter he started the pop band Dance with a Stranger in 1984, and they released five albums. His first solo album ''Som første gang'' (1997) showed Elgenes from another side, with Norwegian lyrics. His next solo project ''Remembrance'' (2000) was the exact opposite. Here he sing classic songs with English lyrics, accompanied by piano, sound effects and a chamber orchestra. In 2002 he started a new trio called "AcousticMusicMachine" with Inge Bævre (guitar) and Eivind Gjelberg (percussion). Elgin Railway Station
Elgin railway station is a railway station serving the town of Elgin, Moray in Scotland. The station is managed and served by ScotRail and is on the Aberdeen to Inverness Line, between Keith and Forres, measured from Forres. History The first station in Elgin was opened by the Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR) on 10 August 1852 by the Morayshire Railway. The second owned by the Highland Railway was opened on 25 March 1858 by the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway and later known as Elgin West. The GNSR lines to Lossiemouth and (where it joined the Strathspey Railway (GNoSR)) were subsequently joined by the GNSR Morayshire Coast line in 1886–7. Jarno Sebastian Elg (born 1975) is a Finnish Satanist who was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a 23-year-old man, eating some of the body parts and instigating others to participate in a ritual that included torturing the victim while listening to songs from '' The Cainian Chronicle'', an album by the Norwegian black metal band Ancient, on November 21, 1998, in Hyvinkää. Elg's accomplices were the 17-year-old Terhi Johanna Tervashonka from Järvenpää, a 20-year-old man from Mäntsälä and a 16-year-old boy from Kerava. Jarno Elg was captured by the police and sentenced to life in prison. The accomplices Terhi Johanna Tervashonka and Mika Kristian Riska were respectively sentenced to eight years and six months and two years and eight months in prison by The Hyvinkää District Court in southern Finland. Its main base was Marco Polo International Airport, Venice. History A majority of the shares were purchased by Paolo Sinigalia, owner of the Simod shoe factory, in Padova, Italy. One of the company's decisions was to "cut" the scheduled block times (scheduled time from engine start to engine shut down), because pilots were paid based on their block time. Flights were delayed; management then decided to cut scheduled turnover times. Maintenance was unable to repair airplanes on time, resulting in flight delays. Effluent Limitation Guidelines
Effluent Guidelines (also referred to as Effluent Limitation Guidelines (ELGs)) are U.S. national standards for wastewater discharges to surface waters and publicly owned treatment works (POTW) (also called municipal sewage treatment plants). The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issues Effluent Guideline regulations for categories of industrial sources of water pollution under Title III of the Clean Water Act (CWA). The standards are technology-based, i.e. they are based on the performance of treatment and control technologies (e.g., Best Available Technology). Effluent Guidelines are not based on risk or impacts of pollutants upon receiving waters. Regulated pollutants range from acenaphthene to zinc, with maximum allowed contamination levels in discharge water (wastewater) varying by industry.
