Anna Ehn
Anna Ehn (born 1931) is an Austrian Righteous Among the Nations. One day Anna was approached by a 13-year-old Jewish girl, Illona Friedman, on her way to Mass. She instantly offered food to the hungry child, and promised to do so every day. Ilona Friedman came to Vienna from Hungary in 1944, when she and her family were part of a transport of Jews. When the air strikes on Vienna intensified, children like her had to tidy up streets, and cemeteries, after bombings. Ilona and people like her had to beg for money, and food on the streets since they had nothing to eat and were hungry all the time. When Ilona's older sister was injured in a bombing and taken to a SS-hospital, she asked Anna Ehn to save her sister from deportation into a death camp. Eventually, Anna Ehn went to the hospital and got her will to take Ilona Friedman's sister home. Anna looked after the girl and eventually saved her life. Christoffer Ehn
Christoffer Ehn (born 5 April 1996) is a Sweden, Swedish professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward, who is currently playing with Linköping HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Ehn was drafted 106th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career During the 2013–14 SHL season, 2013–14 season, Ehn recorded eight goals and ten assists in 15 games with Frölunda HC's Under-18 team, as well as four goals and seven assists in 45 games with Frölunda's J20 SuperElit team. Ehn was ranked 89th by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau on their final list of the top draft-eligible European skaters leading into the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. During the 2015–16 SHL season, 2015–16 season, Ehn recorded two assists in 37 regular season games, and one assist in 16 playoff games, helping lead Frölunda HC to the Le Mat Trophy. Erik Ehn
Erik Ehn is an American playwright and director known for proposing the Regional Alternative Theatre movement. The former dean of theater at CalArts, the California Institute of Arts, he is the former head of playwriting and professor of theatre and performance studies at Brown University. His published works include ''The Saint Plays'', ''Beginner'', and ''13 Christs''. Ehn is a playwright, educator and theorist of contemporary theater. Nearly a decade ago, he collaborated with Janie Geiser on ''Invisible Glass,'' which is itself inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short story, " William Wilson." It premiered at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater ( REDCAT) in April 2005. His play ''Maria Kizito'' is based on the 1994 genocide in Rwanda and is the result of his research in that Central African country. Its premiere launched Atlanta's 7 Stages 2004–05 season. Karl Ehn
Karl Ehn (1 November 1884 – 26 July 1957) was a Viennese architect and city planner. Biography Ehn apprenticed under Otto Wagner, began working for the Vienna City Administration in 1908, and as City Architect of Vienna was responsible for many ''Gemeindebau'' (public housing projects) of the 1920s and 1930s.Architecture in Austria : a Survey of the 20th Century, edited by Sasha Pirker and the Architektur Zentrum Wien, page 66 It is estimated that Ehn designed a total of 2,716 flats during his career. Initially his designs were informed by the English Garden City movement as shown by his early commission at Hermewiese (1923). His most notable single design remains the colossal Karl Marx-Hof (1926-1930), the largest and best example of innovative public housing built during the Socialist Red Vienna movement.
