Kabuliwala ( bn, কাবুলিওয়ালা) is a drama film of 2006 directed by Kazi Hayat. It was based on "Kabuliwala", an 1892 short story written by Rabindranath Tagore. Kazi Hayat conducted the screenplay and dialogues. Faridur Reza Sagar and Ibn Hasan Khan jointly produced this film under the banner of Impress Telefilm Limited. Shahrukh Fardin Subrata is a Bangladeshi film actor. He is better known as Subrata in the film industry. He has appeared in over 140 films. Montazur Rahman Akbar is a Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, producer, social activist and entrepreneur. He is known for his work in the Bengali-language film industry, which is centered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Akbar also fought in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
