Francesca Di Lorenzo (; born July 22, 1997) is an American tennis player. She played collegiately for the ''Ohio State University''. On May 29, 2017, Di Lorenzo and her partner Miho Kowase won the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship. Personal life Di Lorenzo was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but raised in Columbus, Ohio, after her family moved there when she was around the age of seven. Her parents, Carlo and Daniela Di Lorenzo, are Italian immigrants from Salerno. Carlo is a physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus and Daniela teaches Italian at various colleges. Di Lorenzo attended New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio. Life and career Born in Rome, the sister of actor Maurizio Arena, she debuted in a main role in 1970, playing Alberto Sordi's wife in a segment of the anthology film '' Le coppie''. In 1976 she reprised the role in a segment of the Sordi's comedy film ''Il comune senso del pudore''. Tina Di Lorenzo (4 December 1872 — 25 March 1930) was an Italian actress on stage and in silent films. Early life Concettina Di Lorenzo was born in Turin, the daughter of the Marquis Corrado Di Lorenzo and Amelia Colonnello.
