Kirsty "Dotty" Cotton is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Molly Conlin from 2008 to 2010 and Milly Zero from 2019 to 2022. She was introduced on 26 December 2008 as the daughter of established character Nick Cotton ( John Altman). Nick uses Dotty as his partner-in-crime; they plan to kill his mother Dot Branning (June Brown) and inherit the money from her will. She and Dot subsequently become close after Dotty sabotages Nick's murder attempt at the last minute. In her final storyline which aired on 23 February 2010, she left with her mother Sandy (Caroline Pegg), who she believed died. On 3 October 2019, Dotty returned, with the role recast to Milly Zero. In December 2021, Sandy tells her that she is not Nick's daughter and that her father is Tom "Rocky" Cotton (Brian Conley). However, in September 2022, this is revealed to be a lie. Dotty Attie (born 1938, Pennsauken, New Jersey) is an acclaimed feminist painter, and the co-founder of the first all-female cooperative art gallery in America, A.I.R. Gallery. Her work has been widely exhibited and is in many major museum collections, including the Whitney, the Museum of Modern Art, and the National Gallery in London. She also has the rare distinction of having an all-female punk rock band named after her. Attie currently resides in New York, New York. Education and early work Attie discovered her interest in art at an early age, as she found that she was interested in drawing. Dotty Lynch (July 24, 1945 – August 10, 2014) was an academic, journalist and political pollster, best known for being the first woman to be chief polltaker for a presidential campaign when she worked for Gary Hart. She also served as political advisor to George McGovern and Jimmy Carter. She was the CBS News senior political editor from 1985 to 2005 and was a member of the CBS News/New York Times polling consortium. In 2006, she joined American University's School of Communication as executive in residence, and became director of the SOC/SPA joint MA program in Political Communication. Career Lynch began her career in 1968 when she worked as a researcher for the Election Unit at NBC. In 1972, she joined Cambridge Survey Research, becoming a vice president in 1976. Dotty Mack (born Dorothy Zompero, April 25, 1929November 11, 2019) was a lip sync actress and mime artist, known as the "Queen of Pantomime" for her appearances in '' The Paul Dixon Show'' (1951), ''The Dotty Mack Show'' (1953) and ''Cavalcade of Stars'' (1949). Early life Mack was born in Price Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended the Mother of Mercy High School, graduating in 1947. She then worked as a human mannequin in a department store window in Cincinnati, and as a salesperson, before being employed as a record librarian at WCPO-AM radio in March 1949. Career Mack appeared in Paul Dixon's radio show. When WCPO-TV started in July 1949, she transferred to the ''Paul Dixon's Song Shop'' on television, performing with Dixon and Wanda Lewis. ''The Dotty Mack Show'' is an American variety show originally broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network in 1953, and on ABC from 1953 to 1956. Broadcast history The program, produced and distributed from Cincinnati, aired Monday at 10:45 pm on most DuMont affiliates until July 1953, when it moved to Tuesdays at 9:30 pm.
